Trial Report

Another terrific trial at Holway

The day was a beautiful sunny warm November day, when we started in some game crop, which produced some difficult retrieves, and the odd easy one.

We then moved to our enchanted woods, lovely laid bracken with a good quantity of pheasants ‘perfect for spaniels’

We managed to complete the trial in this wood, our judges Ian Flint and Roger Shepherd gave every dog the opportunity to strut their stuff.

After a run off between Dan Shotton and Walter Harrison the trial was declared over and we all returned to the wood yard for lunch and the presentation of awards.
