GWYNEDD SPANIEL CLUB

Well what a start to the Gwynedd Spaniel Club trials. Trials at Hollway are always good, but this was superb for our Novice Cocker Spaniel Trial.

A wood full of bracken and pheasants perfect for these spaniels.

Our judges were David Chudley and Simon Blackman (judging first trial) and what a good job he made of it.

Game came to hand well a couple early runners, which were dealt with well by the dogs. Then the guns David, Alan, John and Mike had got their eye in and dealt with game superbly.

We had eye wipes, early runners, long retrieves, short retrieves a good testing trial.

After a discussion the trial was declared over.
